Génie logiciel / Développement WebEPAM is seeking to strengthen our Architecture and Technology Consulting Practice in Paris with the addition of a Solution Architect who brings a comprehensive blend of technical and consultative skills to lead the design, development and evolution of our client's web platform.
The role requires a background in solution architecture, technology consulting, client engagement and stakeholder management.

Project Description:
Several of our clients have formed an 'Alliance' to combine their expertise and resources to create and refine a shared Data Portal, serving as the single point of access for data assets across their organizations. This pioneering collaboration aims to empower employees to discover and share data seamlessly, strengthen governance practices and facilitate informed decision-making.
The portal is built on modern technologies, including Node.js, Angular, and a microservice architecture powered by AWS Lambda serverless framework, delivering scalability and flexibility. This client Alliance integrates budget-sharing, resources and best practices, creating substantial value in terms of developing a portal that lets their employees discover, share data assets across and help with governance within the organisations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a Solution Architect, you will lead the Alliance Design Authority, balancing the competing architecture constraints and business requirements across the three organizations
- Architect scalable, secure and efficient solutions for the Data Portal using AWS Lambda, Amazon Web Services and microservice architecture patterns
- Leverage Microsoft Azure, where necessary, for interoperability or hybrid cloud solutions
- Develop Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) to validate technical approaches or resolve architectural spikes
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure solutions are implemented in alignment with design and operational objectives
- Advocate for governance-led data sharing and discovery processes within the portal, ensuring consistency and scalability of shared data assets across the Alliance using industry best practices in data management
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the Alliance, ensuring open communication and alignment of priorities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business teams and executive leadership, presenting technical recommendations in an accessible and compelling way
- Enable seamless collaboration across the Alliance by building a flexible platform ecosystem
- Share resources, budgets and best practices to optimize the Data Portal for all Alliance members
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or relevant work experience)
- Fluent French and English speaker
- Proven experience acting as a hands-on Solution Architect with a strong foundation in platform delivery, architecture design and comfortable partnering with multi-disciplinary teams
- AWS Lambda: Extensive experience designing and deploying serverless architectures
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, API Gateway and related tools
- JavaScript Frameworks: Proficient in frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar for frontend development
- Microservice Architecture Style: Advanced experience in designing modular, distributed systems that ensure scalability and fault tolerance
- Microsoft Azure: Knowledge of Azure cloud solutions and hybrid cloud systems for integration, as needed
- Client Relationship Management: Ability to foster strong stakeholder connections, understanding business objectives, and prioritizing collaboration
- Experience presenting solutions and progress to non-technical executives, offering clear explanations and actionable recommendations
- Proven hands-on expertise implementing and troubleshooting complex web platforms and familiarity with shared data domains and governance practices
