Application Developer (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility

• Collaboration in the development of multifunctional, intelligent cooking appliances - from pre-development to the start of series production.
• Development of cooking programs and algorithms for controlling and regulating cooking processes based on customer feedback and market trends (quality, efficiency and energy consumption)
• Product support for device generations over the entire life cycle: Provide support to other teams in the analysis and solution of cooking related issues.
• Planning, execution, analysis and documentation of laboratory tests: determining the energy efficiency, validation of cooking processes and evaluation of new technologies.
• Cross-process project work with internal and external partners: coordinate and communicate between different departments and teams, e.g. product management or software, to understand the needs of the market and develop appropriate solutions.

Your Profile

• Master's degree/engineer in food technology, process engineering, nutrition/hygiene, supply management or similar. A training qualification in the food trade is of advantage.
• Knowledge in the field of thermodynamics, food preparation, sensory analysis, sensor technologies, and appliance technology.
• Ideally In-depth knowledge and professional experience in one of the subject areas.
• Creativity and flexibility: You have the ability to find innovative solutions and to adapt to evolving circumstances and requirements.
• Independent, methodical and scientific way of working; willingness to take responsibility and to confirm theoretical considerations in the laboratory in practical cooking tests.
• Fluent in German and English, knowledge in French is advantageous.
