Tech Soft 3D, a global leader in 3D software development toolkits, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, CAE to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the architecture and development of our CEETRON SDK product line, with a strong focus on data access, meshing, and solving (specifically within the Access, Mesh, and Solve toolkits). You will play a key role in shaping architectural guidelines, writing high-quality C++ code, and maintaining robust, scalable solutions for engineering applications. This position is based in our Sophia Antipolis office in France.

What You Will Do:

• Become the leading contributor to architectural improvements in the Solve, Access and Mesh toolkits
• Provide insight into the design of our products to satisfy new workflows and new data models.
• Participate in the maintenance and development of Tech Soft 3D's CAE toolkit product line
• Contribute to enhancing the efficiency of the CAE team's engineering processes, including DevOps and QA
• Build positive relationships with colleagues and operate in an Agile environment

The Qualifications:

• M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 10+ years in a software development position
• Proven successful record in large legacy codebase architectural tasks, including refactoring
• Excellent skills in designing, writing, and debugging C++ code.
• Mastery of computer science fundamentals: algorithms, design patterns, etc.
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Exceptional analysis and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to learn independently
• Experience working in an international team

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of finite element data structures and simulation technologies
• Experience in C development
• Proficiency in French
• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with 3D visualization technologies and/or finite elements
• Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, git
