Comprising 1,650 researchers spread across 14 Research Centres around the world, our Global R&D team aims to continuously improve the quality of steel and its manufacturing processes. This involves investigating and developing disruptive technologies, reducing the carbon footprint of steel, and optimizing costs while maintaining uncompromising quality.
The team's strong multicultural diversity, with over 30 nationalities, offers international experience and makes it possible to meet global needs.
You will be attached to Global R&D Software Factory, in a multi-cultural cluster composed by 30 engineers and 30 consultants, organized in four teams, working on development and deploying process solutions for ArcelorMittal.
You will join the product quality R&D team made up of 7 engineers who have been building industrial solutions for over 20 years.
Our main mission is to distribute and integrate innovative solutions for product quality management in the different ArcelorMittal plants. These solutions, which contribute to disseminate the best practices and to improve the product quality, are deployed in ArcelorMittal plants all over the world in more than 10 countries.
Business travel will allow you to work with our clients on a global scale and experience different cultures.
We are looking for an experienced industrial solutions integrator to join our core team to deploy new innovative quality management solutions across a large industrial scope.
Your role:
You will be the project leader for deployments of our product quality management solutions. Main activities:
- Manage the entire rollout roadmap
- Adapt the standard process to rollout the solutions in an efficient way
- Contribute with Product Architects to adapt the solution for new needs
- Share the practices on the team and ensure that all are well aligned with the guidelines
You will be responsible for Quality Product solutions deployment:
- Manage the rollout project with all the stakeholders (R&D teams, Quality and IT teams of the plant)
- Look for an efficient way to deploy the solution in the local environment
- Manage integration roadblocks by taking necessary actions to solve them
- Identify improvements in the solution for meeting the plant expectations
- Train local teams to take in charge the first level maintenance

As part of ArcelorMittal Global R&D, Software Factory leverages technical excellence to develop industrial and standard solutions embedding R&D know-how. Our mission is to combine top class process models from our researchers to state-of-the-art digital technologies (artificial intelligence, edge computing, distributed architectures, etc.) and bring them to ArcelorMittal operations.

Your profil & competencies:
- Master : Software engineer
- Experience in project management interfaced with production systems
- Experience with integration & messaging technologies
- Good knowledge in architecture desing (onPrem and Cloud)
- Knowledge of material management concepts (product tracking/genealogy, production registering, interactions with scheduling tools, interaction with quality tools,...)
- Knowledge of instrumentation and signal/information processing
- Knowledge of industrial engineering
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies
- Good communication skills, to train local IT teams to ensure the first level maintenance
- Team spirit, good analytical skills, abstract thinking, empathy.
- Ability to make proposals related to process and/or continuous improvement plan.
- Ability to interact/manage transversally, in remote teams, with external partners.
- Willing to work in a multi-cultural environment
