Software Engineer with DevSecOps Expertise
Summary of the Role

Our team mission is to deliver the foundation to make applications reliable, user-friendly, and secure. We are a team of dedicated individuals who aim to centralize and connect others, improve team efficiency, and be leaders in technical, security, and quality of experience in our department.

In this role, you will have a chance to:

• Industrialize operational activities and shared frameworks. Enhance local development tools and processes.
• Collaborate with the Digital Labs to progress on non-functional requirements such as migration to the Azure Public Cloud, update of delivery pipelines (Jenkins, HELM), or adoption of new development frameworks (ADK).
• Provide expertise on shared tools, libraries (Java, Groovy), and processes. Support complex technical investigations and initiatives.
• Engage actively in internal technical forums to continuously innovate and improve the tools and processes used by the Digital Labs.
• Serve as a security resource to ensure all teams' applications follow security standards and support them in passing recurring audits.

About Ideal Candidate

• Has a degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience, and is fluent in English.
• Can demonstrate solid knowledge and/or experience in cloud computing, backend development in an Agile SAFe environment with a focus on the following technologies: Java/J2EE (Spring MVC, JBOSS, Maven), IT fundamentals (Unix/Linux bash, Network, VM, GIT, SQL), MS Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Helm, Jenkins, and/or Groovy.
• Is eager to continuously learn and study new languages, design patterns, and architectures to propose effective solutions for development experience and software engineering challenges.
• Is capable of proactively participating, constructively debating, and contributing to technical directions.
• Has an innovative mindset and is enthusiastic about ongoing trends such as Artificial Intelligence applied to DevOps, productivity and security areas, DevSecFinOps shift, and advanced cyber security.

Business Environment

The Altéa Services Engineering mission is to secure the double-digit growth of Airlines Services by driving the definition and execution of a common services operating model that has its main pillars on excellence, flexibility, scalability, and customer focus. It will be working hand-in-hand with the business domains, owning the excellence of the delivery, within and beyond Altéa, to build a strong services function able to deliver end-to-end services around those four pillars. The group includes airlines digital services which represents a natural core for the evolution of the services engineering function within Altéa. The delivery is mainly coordinated by Delivery Centers (The digital Hubs) split in Digital Labs which builds customized touchpoints on the platform provided by TTX under an integrated SAFe setup. The Nice Digital Hub has a dedicated System Team whose footprint, responsibilities, and size are continuously growing. In this context, we are looking for a motivated candidate to continue rising our objectives above the cloud.
