AdaCore is looking for a Software Developer to join our team. He or she will be responsible for the development, integration and maintenance of our enterprise platforms.

As part of our Enterprise Tooling team, the applicant will be assisting our various Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Finance departments in the use of our enterprise tools, providing custom developments and technological solutions to improve workflows, analyze and implement departments needs, promoting best practices and guiding decision-making.

In the IT Enterprise Tooling team, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing new features or functionality according to business needs
• Collaborating with business users to gather requirements and understand business processes
• Integrate our cloud platforms with third party systems
• Writing unit tests and integration tests for customizations
• Maintaining documentation and providing training for customizations

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• Strong software development skills
• Proficiency in multiple languages (C, C++, Java, JavaScript, APEX, Python, ...)
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts
• Good knowledge of Git
• Ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities and allocate resources
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong teamwork skills, willingness to share, discuss and improve, and be able to work with a distributed team in worldwide time zones
• Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate with remote teammates.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Apex programming
• Knowledge of web application frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, ReactJS)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes
• Experience with GitLab or GitHub
