PR Tech has recently undergone a deep organizational transformation towards an Agile and Product organization. All the technical resources in the organization have been grouped into Chapters around specific technical domains.

In this context, the Infrastructure Chapter Lead is responsible for leading and developing the Infrastructure Engineering Chapter within Global Engineering Services in our Tech organization.

Ready to make a Tech impact? Pernod Ricard is looking for an Infrastructure Engineering Chapter Lead to define technical standards and lead a high-performing team in driving the evolution of our global infrastructure portfolio.

Your key missions:

  • Define and oversee global standards, best practices, and guidelines for infrastructure engineering, including architecture and administration for computer systems (on-premise and cloud-based), databases, and data systems.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to align Chapter skills with the technical evolution of the Infrastructure portfolio.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a diverse, high-performing team of infrastructure engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to support the evolution of infrastructure products and promote the Chapter's contribution to value creation within Pernod Ricard.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and capacity planning, ensuring effective integration of Chapter members into agile squads.
  • Manage external vendors, define sourcing strategies, and oversee budgets while driving performance and cost optimization.

  • You have 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, including expertise in Azure, AWS, Infrastructure as Code, Linux/Unix administration, and database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • You bring 5+ years of people management experience with a proven track record of developing and mentoring team members.
  • You have deep knowledge of system design, performance optimization, scalability, and site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.
  • You are experienced in agile methodologies and have a passion for cross-team collaboration, stakeholder management, and driving innovation.
  • You demonstrate excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in complex, large-scale systems.
