To meet our challenges, we are looking for our next EHS Performance & System Leader (M/F) within the Global EHS Team, on a permanent contract!
This position will be located in La Madeleine (Lille) and will report to the Head of Global EHS.
Your mission :
In this role, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the Group's EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) performance through the use of optimized and tailored management systems and monitoring tools.
You will ensure the systematic integration of EHS considerations into business decisions and operations, while aligning EHS management practices and routines with the Operational Excellence programs.

Group EHS framework & Management System
- Guaranteeing that the Global EHS Operating Framework is adapted to the Group activities and challenges.
- Ensuring execution of the Group EHS roadmap in collaboration with the EHS Community and other stakeholders.
- Promoting and coordinating adherence and integration with the different Areas and/or Business Groups, regions and functions.
- Elaborating dashboards and preparing management reviews.
- Identifying and framing strategic EHS initiatives and projects which will guarantee the group EHS performance continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with key support functions and management to ensure a good level of transversality.
- Representing EHS in the Group M&A projects to provide EHS expertise and ensure good integration & supervision of EHS topics.
Group EHS Performance
- Setting and tracking the Group EHS lagging and leading Key Performance Indicators.
- Evaluating the effectiveness and the performance of EHS initiatives and making improvement recommendations.
- Collaborating with Performance Excellence teams to ensure good alignment with EHS programs and tools.
- Building and coordinating the Global EHS Team and transversal EHS management routines.
- Defining and improving the Group EHS reports, including consolidation (sites / regions) and the EHS part of the Group Balance Scorecard.

- Engineer degree (or equivalent) in technical, science, EHS or related.
- 10 years or more in EHS and/or Operational Excellence in an international chemical or process company (or equivalent).
- Strong set of competencies in international group EHS management.
- Good understanding of EHS related issues, trends, and best practices.
- Knowledge of relevant environment laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Good set of competencies in operational excellence and LEAN practices and programs.
- Analysis tools and project management methods.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Visual management capabilities and drive.
