Technical Solution Architect
Summary of the Role

As an Architect, you will also take on software development engineering tasks. You will define, drive, and maintain software architecture with respect to customer requirements and the company's objectives for a given system or subsystem.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate software development activities: requirements, design, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Facilitate Architecture & Design Review Boards.
• Design and develop platform components with architects and tech leads.
• Address challenges, improve processes, and communicate effectively.
• Develop and validate new ideas for Amadeus.
• Guide software architecture, ensuring consistency and strategic alignment.
• Design solutions at the platform/application level, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct studies and analyze cross-functional requirements.
• Understand business needs and constraints from Product Managers and customers.
• Ensure solution designs enhance the product.
• Communicate progress and recommendations clearly.
• Participate in architecture activities: Cloud Native applications, micro-services, low/no-code capabilities, Event Driven Architecture, Data Mesh, Data Analytics, External/Internal APIs, GUI integration, and open platforms strategy.

About Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Architect and at least 8 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Proficient in software development with expertise in software architecture, cloud-native applications, and microservices.
• Proven leadership in Architecture & Design Review Boards.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers and customers.
• Innovative mindset with a track record of driving positive change.
• Ability to work independently and lead projects.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
