LOCATION AND DATE

Full-time permanent contract. Position based in Suresnes.

MAIN MISSIONS /DUTIES

Working in a hybrid environment in Suresnes, you will join Bel Group's Strategic Innovation Team whose mission is to accelerate Innovation Excellence and Performance.
  • By designing Innovation Strategy at Group level (White spaces identification, concepts...),
  • by fostering Innovation Portfolio approach at Group / Brand / Market levels,
  • by delivering Key Strategic Innovation Projects for Bel around the world.

As Innovation Impact Leader, you will have a pivotal role in leading the Innovation Excellence Pole.

Driving the innovation transformation of the company to level-up excellence by
  1. Integrating new ways of working & tools
  2. leading the training programs for Innovation project management at Bel
  3. managing the INNO/RENO process and portfolio performance, to support strategic decisions.

You will report directly to Group Strategic Innovation Director based in France.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Essential business activities expected from this position:

As Innovation Impact Leader you will be responsible for:

Innovation-reno performance process & portfolio Management:
  • Accelerating the transformation of new ways of working, optimizing processes, methods, and tools.
  • Including the implementation of rolling Y on Y, supporting the identification of fuel the pipe steps (incl. use of GenAI) in collaboration with SI team.
  • Animate, inspire and grow the innovation community (with Innovation tracking, connection and cross fertilization best practices, coaching ..)
  • Portfolio Management:
    • Pilot inno /reno performance KPIs (Key Performance Indicators: NS, Commercial Margin, TTM, Risk Management, Differentiation and Attractiveness for Consumers and Distributors, CSR) for innovation, consolidate and manage them
    • Critically analyze the innovation portfolio at group, brands and key geos level, and recommend actions in line with Bel's strategy and KPIs for the Group
  • Resources management: analyze the resources allocation vs group, brand & local priorities
  • Contribute to the organization of internal ideation or innovation workshops, as well as innovation fairs
  • Manage the collaboration with the provider of Bel's PMO application: contract negotiation with purchasing team, continuous improvement of the user experience, integration into Bel's IT ecosystem.

Innovation Governance & Project Management:
  • Lead, optimize & train on Bel Group's inno-reno governance (covering local & central, Operations, Activity management)
  • Drive engagement and implementation the Bel Group's innovation project management
  • By training the entire population involved in innovation in project management (consumer-centric, sales-oriented, milestone processes, financial and CSR KPIs, risk management, collaborative mindset)

Managing the Research Tax Credit with the RID and finance teams.

Team management and coordination
  • Management of the team of 2 people (1 engineer, 1 trainee)
  • Animation of the Innovation community (RID, Marketing Central, local innovation leaders...)
  • Coordination with complex internal ecosystem (RID, Central Brands, local, Capabilty team..).

Examples of complexities encountered on this position:
  • Coordinate and federate many stakeholders without hierarchical links.
  • Monitoring and making clear diagnosis of the balance between short-term operational project and strategic vision, recommend actions
  • Manage various expertise (Business / Technical), profiles, levels of seniority.
  • Engage stakeholders by challenging the status quo and individual beliefs about the innovation approach

PROFILE

Required diploma and/or level of professional experience:
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Senior experience (> 10years) coming from different possible backgrounds: Business, Marketing, R&D ...
  • Innovation Project management experience
  • Management experience either line or transversal management
  • Fluent English
  • PMO software is a plus

Required skills & mindset:
  • Mastering Inno process management & methods, stage gate process, governance, training animations ..
  • Management of change : ability to drive and engage teams around transformation
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Team spirit and collaboration
  • Innovation ecosystem connection (outside & inside Bel)
  • Analytical & Business skills : Strong business acumen including financials understanding
  • Abilty to challenge the status quo
