ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Technical Team Leader of the Paris service center, your main mission will be to organize the technical work carried out by the center's technicians. You will have to ensure that they are able to perform all the technical services required by each product range that we manage in the office. You will manage the operational activity in order to be able to give dates for the realization of analyses, repairs and calibration of the devices and you will follow up on the proper technical execution in order to meet your deadline commitments. To do this, you will be helped and supported by technical product specialists as well as people who are specialists in our management processes and tools. You will be responsible for the human management of the technical team and you will participate in the operational load. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure the supervision and follow-up of the work of the technical team for the analysis, calibration and repair services of all product ranges managed in the office;
  • Provide technical and methodical support to the team in order to make decisions that promote operational efficiency;
  • Monitor operational processes by mastering interactions with our CRM and ERP tools;
  • Be able to commit to deadlines for completion with the planner and implement what is necessary to meet the commitments;
  • Ensure the metrological monitoring of our test and calibration benches;
  • Report on technical expertise issues on our products and processes so that specialists can help you;
  • Dedicate part of your time to providing certain services that are appropriately chosen to relieve your team according to needs and emergencies;
  • Track leave as well as track performance through our HR system;
  • Ensure the effective transmission of essential information to employees, other departments or the service desk manager when needed, by organizing and supervising daily team meetings;
  • Act as a first responder in the event of a conflict or disagreement in the team; Act as a facilitator/mediator and know how to make quick decisions within your team.

PROFILE:
  • 3 years of experience in a team management role;
  • 3 years of experience in a technical, mechanical or electronic role;
  • Experience with the Salesforce and SAP platform is an asset;
  • Be able to organize tasks independently according to given prioritie;
  • Ability to understand the interactions between the various departments of the company;
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to work with several different software programs;
  • Developed interpersonal skills.
