Your contribution:

As a (Sr.) Technical Sales Representative (m/f/d) you will create business opportunities to support and promote our Brand toward Clarios' independent aftermarket potential and existing customers on all aspects of vehicle batteries and car electronics systems. You will also be a consultant to our 2nd and 3rd trade level customers on all technical aspects, current and future developments of battery technology and the impacts on the vehicles as well as the workshops. Furthermore, you are responsible to run technical trial and other projects with potential customers.

In this role you will work directly with the customer, approx. 80% of your time you will spend at the customer mainly in the Southeast of France.

Key responsibilities:

Sales:
  • Proactively develop sales opportunities to ensure best product solution for customers' needs and guide the customer to sales closure on different levels from Mechanic to Managers
  • Communicating on and presenting where necessary relevant sales and marketing concepts designed to develop customers business.
  • Supporting trade show representation
  • Providing general administrative support to back office (reporting tasks, logistics support, invoice support, etc.)

Technical:
  • Conducting technical training in a variety of formats (for example, during customer visits, in group settings (approx. 10 delegates), to occasional conference style presentation on technical sales topics
  • Conduct trainings on battery technologies, diagnostics, detailed fitting instructions as well as vehicle electronics systems
  • Performing Technical demonstrations and product trials

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong sales capabilities and sales background
  • Several years of sales experience ideally in automotive business including approximately and solid experience in account management of a technical product.
  • Good at selling, influencing, and negotiating.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent customer manager who places importance on their development ensuring a long-term relationship
  • Team player mentality
  • Strong experience in a technical training environment in the Automotive business
  • Experience of utilizing technology in the delivery of training such as webinars and social media
  • Driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within SE France
  • Native French skills and fluent in English
  • Genuine interest and passion for the automotive industry
  • Good IT skills and familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Automotive, Commercial vehicle or Bus and Coach technical training experience desirable
  • Self-starter, able to book and manages new sales talks and develop technical discussions into sales opportunities.
