Amadeus and Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, Swiss Air, Austrian Airlines, SN Brussels) have been working together since some years to build the new digital environment of the Lufthansa Group travelers, starting with the booking interface over desktop and mobile.

Now, Amadeus expands its partnership with Lufthansa Group through the "Digital Hangar", a new entity of Lufthansa Group gathering its own resources as well as its partners, in the building of an extended digital environment going beyond just booking and aiming at revolutionizing the end-to-end digital journey of Lufthansa Group travelers.

About the role:

What is the purpose of the role?

Our team is currently composed of ~75 people split over 3 locations (Nice, Bad Homburg and Istanbul), working hybrid and we are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer/ Technical Lead for the Amadeus-Lufthansa Digital Lab. Do you want to take the challenge of delivering new and exciting projects (Angular, RxJS, HTML/CSS, Git...) for Lufthansa Group and are you ready to bring your knowledge and expertise to reinforce our existing teams?

The position is based in Villeneuve-Loubet (Amadeus Nice, France).

In this role, you:

  • will work in a full Agile (SAFe) environment in close contact with the client,
  • are an experienced developer, at ease with technical framework(s) and environments
  • are the technical leader of your scrum team : you recommend technical choices, support junior developers with your expertise, analyze complex problems and propose technical solutions, translate the requirements of the PO into technical proposals/solutions, act as the privileged counterpart of the team for discussions with technical stakeholders (ex. architect, principal engineer...)
  • participate in daily scrum meetings,
  • participate in agile events (ex. System Demos, Inspect & Adapt sessions, PIPE...) and lead agile ceremonies falling under your responsibility while supporting your PO for the rest
  • are an active member of Dev Community of Practice (CoP) and contribute to other regular/ad-hoc sessions (ex. draft plan reviews, management meetings...)
  • will attend the f-2-f PI Planning Events (PIPE)
