Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Junior Flight tests analysis engineer (f/m) to join our Flight test Department based in Marignane, France.

You will join the department in charge of Flight tests preparation and results analysis. This offer will consist of Flight test instrumentation specification and validation, flight data analysis in order to contribute to development and certification / qualification of civil and military helicopters.

You may have to attend external mission campaigns; hence, you shall be available for some mobility within the year.

Your challenges:

You will contribute to the following main activities:

Within Airbus Helicopters Marignane, you will be involved in research and development tests for the development of helicopter prototypes, integrated into the Flight Test Analysis Service.

You will be expected to deliver on time / cost and with the necessary quality, reliable measurement results and test reports required for the development and certification / qualification of government and commercial helicopters.

You will work in conjunction with various Flight Test stakeholders (Flight Crew, Instrumentation specialists, Data Processing), from the Studies (Business Specialists, Projects) or external (Equipment Suppliers, Official Services).

Your main missions:

• Participate in the preparation of the tests to be carried out: support / challenge the test request.
• Contribute to the nominal progress of the tests, ensure the required follow-up
• Validate and analyze the various measurements carried out
• Present the test results, make appropriate summaries
• write test reports and certification / qualification documents

You will work in many and varied fields:

• Avionics: autopilot, navigation systems, integration of complex systems.

Vehicle: performances, handling qualities, power plant, thermal environment, vibrations, stresses, dynamics.

You may need to follow real-time telemetry tests or participate in test campaigns on an external site (weapon firing, hot / cold climate, performance at altitude, other locations, ...)

Your profile:

• Engineer with a specialization in aeronautical engineering,
• You have more than 2 years of experience in the aeronautics and testing sector.
• You are responsive and available.
• You have a good analytical mind and good oral and written communication skills.
• Your team spirit and your professionalism will be essential assets for success in this function.
