For our Software department in Toulouse (France) we are looking for local talent.

The Role:

• Work with a team of software professionals on software applications that control various electronic systems in vehicles.
• Drive validation of high Quality, high performance and production ready software.
• Ensure quality from low level software to end applications.
• Validate software on representative benches and on vehicle.
• Test and release in alignment with QA & vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level.
• Define, maintain and execute accurate test plans to cover all the aspects of the different features developed on site (Audio, Camera applications, low power mode, .. )
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of the test plans and associated results
• Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage.
• Assess and support in debugging, working closely with software applications developers throughout the software development life cycle.

Requirements:

• Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of recent experience working as QA Engineer on complex embedded systems validation.
• Experience working in Automotive - Infotainment validation
• Working knowledge on Android and Linux.
• Proven ability to define and execute accurate test plans to ensure good reproducibility.
• Programming skills with python and shell scripting would be appreciated.
• Experience working in an agile environments.
• Familiar with Jira, and software development lifecycle.
• Excellent documentation and organization skills
• Good communication, able to convey both detailed explanations and high-level status updates and know when each is appropriate.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
