As the Manager of our Embedded Software Validation and Support team , you will lead a dynamic, multinational team spread across Cestas (France) and Tolland (USA). This role places you at the nexus of R&D, customer experience, and end-to-end validation for Lectra's cutting-edge equipment and embedded software solutions.

You'll drive excellence by ensuring the highest quality standards for our solutions, delivering exceptional support, and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement in alignment with Lectra's roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture across a cross-functional team.
    • Align the team with Lectra's strategic goals and ensure skill development through tailored training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
    • Identify and nurture talent, ensuring flexibility and adaptability within the team to meet business demands.
  2. Validation Excellence:
    • Manage the agile validation process within multiple Scrum teams, driving enhancements and delivering new features for our embedded solutions.
    • Oversee the end-to-end validation (Solution Level Testing) of embedded systems and associated software.
    • Define and implement robust testing strategies, balancing manual and automated approaches to ensure flawless product delivery.
    • Partner with R&D and Product Owners to anticipate and mitigate risks, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  3. Customer Support Leadership (L3):
    • Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, collaborating with Customer Success teams to deliver timely resolutions (Level 3 Support).
    • Prioritize and manage customer-reported defects, ensuring seamless communication with R&D for corrective actions.
    • Contribute to improving customer satisfaction by providing detailed analysis, solutions, and technical training to internal stakeholders and partners.
  4. Continuous Improvement:
    • Drive innovation by promoting new tools, methodologies, and technologies that enhance validation efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor team KPIs and implement improvements based on actionable insights to optimize processes and outcomes.

What We're Looking For
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Automation, Software, Electronics, or related fields).
  • Experience: 5+ years in a leadership role, ideally within R&D, QA, or technical support environments. Experience with embedded software is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of validation strategies, defect management, and customer support tools. Familiarity with methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and testing frameworks.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. A passion for developing teams and fostering collaboration across global locations.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in French. Strong English proficiency required
