We believe games and music can amplify social bonds. Our first Opus is the child of these two social amplifiers.

After a successful fundraising in 2024 with one of the largest video game investors in the world, Opus Major already has an amazing team of 25 people around the world.

You have the opportunity to join our Tech teams and contribute to an exciting moment in the development of our first Opus, a cross-platform large-scale multiplayer game based on a vibrant universe where music is the magic of the world.

As a Dev Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and player experience of our game. You'll collaborate closely with the production and development teams to identify, document, and follow up on bugs, as well as provide feedback on gameplay mechanics and overall functionality.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Familiarity with QA methodologies and tools for testing
• Knowledge of industry best practices to organise test strategies, document, track bugs and report key metrics
• Experience using Unreal Engine 5 to debug and resolve minor issues
• Hands-on experience with C++ or Blueprint scripting to address bugs and implement fixes
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
• Experience testing and debugging games on PC, console, and mobile platforms
• Ability to dive into complex issues, identify their root causes, and provide practical solutions
• Ability to clearly communicate technical challenges and solutions in English, both written and spoken

Experience

• 2+ years in a combined QA and development role in the video game industry, preferably with multiplayer or cross-platform projects

A Huge Plus

• ISTQB certification in agile tech testing
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques in Unreal Engine 5
• Passion for music
