We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Senior Integration, Validation and Verification Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in working on the next generation of satellite connectivity products and technologies. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Senior Integration, Validation and Verification Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in working on the next generation of satellite connectivity products and technologies. In this position, you'll work closely with system engineers, product and programme managers, senior stakeholders and vendor partners, contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives. - You will take ownership of integrating and testing end-to-end features, including writing test plans/procedures, executing them with the wider teams, and reporting to the senior leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities.

What You'll Do:
- Work on the next generation of the Eutelsat Group LEO network across the various layers as well as the backend support infrastructure.
- Work with internal system engineering teams, product and programme management teams, external vendors to develop deep subject matter expertise that extends beyond black box testing.
- Ownership of End-to-end test lifecycle which includes requirement reviews, writing test plans, test scripts, test execution, defect identification, triage and resolution and reporting on test progress to the leadership team.
- Lead the integration of 3rd party user terminals into the Eutelsat Group network, by being the main focal point for this endeavour
- Understand, maintain and enhance the User Terminal (UT) architecture including the modem, host processor, and the antenna sub-system.
- Understand, maintain and enhance the subsystem interaction and the associated interfaces.
- End-to-end system-level debugging across the various verticals (maritime, aero, land, and fixed), Root cause identification and resolution.
- Regression testing of software releases for major subsystems.
- Work on test automation and improvement of current workflows.
- Vendor test plan review, feedback, and active participation in vendor-initiated test campaigns
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Maths. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 5 years' experience in a relevant industry - satellite communications, telecoms and building complex and bespoke E2E systems.
- Understanding of the development and test lifecycle, and exposure to both Waterfall and Agile ways of working
- Debugging joint hardware and software systems
- A collaborative nature and a strong ability to communicate across multiple stakeholders
- Working ability to script in Python and SQL, Bash, Perl or similar languages.
- Excellent understanding of IP networking.
- Excellent understanding of RF engineering, 4G/LTE, QoS, Qualcomm tools (QCAT/QXDM).
- 5G experience strongly preferred as is experience of working with enterprise grade networking equipment.
- Experience with LEO/MEO satellite systems, their CONOPS and systems performance variables and their optimization.
- Experience with Linux, VMWare, AWS or other cloud providers.
- Experience in test automation, framework design and implementation
- A collaborative approach to delivering and passion for learning.
