Joining the test team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing test activities related to the development and qualification of a cutting-edge orbital demonstrator. You will directly collaborate with other teams to address activities such as radar testing, chemical thruster testing (atmospheric and vacuum), thermal vacuum testing, functional testing and many more.

First Missions
  • Getting up to speed with the current test schedule and the past testing activities.
  • Work with the team to achieve ground hot-fire testing of our orbital chemical thruster.

Responsibilities
  • Identifying requirements sets and preparing verification activities.
  • Contributing to the verification strategy of various projects.
  • Planning and implementing verification activities.
  • Researching and selecting the right test partners.
  • Selecting the right hardware to perform the test activities (sensors, ground support equipment, etc.) in accordance to internal needs and test site partners capabilities.
  • Preparing test documentation (specifications, plans, reviews, reports, etc.)
  • Participating in test activities and supporting other teams (propulsion, mechanical, electronics, etc.) in their development

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in V&V and/or testing
  • Ideal background from the Defense / Aerospace industry (e.g. MBDA, Thales, Dassault, Safran, etc.)
  • Knowledge of aerospace test specifications (ECSS, NASA-STD, MIL-STD, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with various sensor types and with instrumentation best-practices
  • Eager / able to learn new skills as you will organize test activities for different departments (electronics, radar, mechanical, propulsion, aerodynamics).
  • Being able to work in a highly iterative environment during early design phases
  • Hands-on experience with highly-technical testing in regulated industries is a plus
  • As we have an international team, knowledge of technical English is required. Fluency in French is a plus

Total salary package begins at €62,000, along with additional performance-based and project-related bonuses.
