As the Naturals Products and Process Development Specialist you are part of our R&D and Industrialization for Naturals team. You will lead projects from the development phase through to industrialization. You will ensure that all necessary steps are taken to deliver viable ingredients to our operations and creation teams.

You will be based in Avignon and report directly to the RnD and Industrialization Manager.

In this exciting role you will:

Project Management

• Lead projects focused on the development and industrialization of natural ingredients for perfumery
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are achieved
• Work with the R&D and Industrialization Manager, providing regular updates on project status

Product Development

• Guide the development of innovative natural ingredients from concept through to final product
• Conduct research and experimentation to improve ingredient properties and performance
• Collaborate with the Naturals Perfumery team to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into product development

Process Development

• Develop and refine processes for producing natural ingredients, ensuring scalability and efficiency
• Work with the operations team to transition new products from the lab to full-scale production
• Implement best practices for process optimization, quality control, and cost reduction

Industrialization

• Oversee the industrialization of new natural ingredients, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Identify and address any challenges during the scale-up process, implementing solutions to ensure successful industrialization
• Support the operations team in troubleshooting and optimizing production processes

Documentation and Compliance

• Ensure all projects are thoroughly documented, including research findings, process developments, and production protocols
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards throughout the development and industrialization process

Your professional profile includes:

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 5+ years experience in product and process development within the perfumery or related industry
• Knowledge of natural ingredients and their applications in perfumery
• Business Fluent in English and French; oral and written
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Used to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
• Experienced working in a dynamique and multinational company
• Experience with process development and scale-up from lab to industrial scale
• Passionate about analytics, data and solving challenges
• Experienced in communicating and presenting in front of people from multiple levels
