Within the Group, you will join the AXA Foundation for Human Progress.
This is the endowment fund of the AXA Group, endowed with €60 million per year. It brings together the main philanthropic initiatives carried out by the Group and the AXA Mutuelles d'assurances over the past four decades in France and abroad. This Foundation embodies a new ambition: to make philanthropy a strategic pillar at the service of human progress, in line with our purpose "to act for human progress by protecting what matters". It is
therefore a non-profit extension of our business as an insurer.
With the AXA Foundation for Human Progress, we operate in 4 areas:
1. Science: Advancing research, better understanding risks and improving quality of life.
2. Protecting the Planet: Reconciling economic development and environmental preservation.

Within this Department, you will be part of the General Secretary team, supporting operations for the 4 areas of interventions.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for directly managing and optimizing the Foundation's operational infrastructure, with a strong focus on IT systems, digital tools, processes, and vendor relationships.
The coordinator will propose and implement the operational set-up and the digital transformation initiatives, while overseeing the integration and transformation of proprietary and external tool and ensure operational excellence in grant lifecycle management.
This role demands a highly technical and proactive individual capable of running our day-to-day operations whistle proposing and coordinating an innovation roadmap.

- Better detect new needs and vulnerabilities at the intersection of different intervention themes, through increased support for science
- Promote an interdisciplinary approach, by combining expertise and innovating methods.
- Strengthen its impact measurement, to guarantee the relevance, transparency and effectiveness of the projects supported.
- Offering simplified access for project leaders as close as possible to the needs of the population.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:

The coordinator will propose and implement the operational set-up and the digital transformation initiatives, while overseeing the integration and transformation of proprietary and external tool and ensure operational excellence in grant lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities:
Innovation and digital transformation:
- Support the Secretary General to roll out the roadmap of tools needed to automate and launch our activities, into a unique seamless digital proposal for all 4 areas of intervention, ensuring transparency, timeliness, and high standards (solidarity, nature, culture, science).
- Implement the transformation of our IT ecosystem to head towards a unified, unique and efficient digital landscape tailored for the foundation's philanthropic activities. This requires the assessment of existing tools, this may require to lead a RFI then a RFP jointly with the AXA in-house IT departments.
- Lead initiatives to automate and optimize processes for our digital presence (potential website, social networks) and CRM targeted enhancements, significantly increasing efficiency and customer service quality, including the migration of legacy systems and processes that would be merged under a unique framework.
- Explore and coordinate the development of innovative tools, such as interactive project search platforms with data visualization capabilities, working with providers and internal teams.
Operational performance monitoring:
- Develop and coordinate the operational dashboards, monthly reporting, and performance metrics to track progress and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the AXA support services centers and providers to maintain operational integrity, security and compliance.
IT and digital tools operational coordination:
- Support the Secretary General on the ownership of the Foundation's IT and digital ecosystem, ensuring it supports and enhance day-to-day operational workflows for the transversal benefit of all 4 areas of intervention (solidarity, nature, culture, science). This includes the direct supervision of proprietary tools (e.g., AXA Research Fund CRM and website) and external software (existing platforms in place for solidarity, health science areas notably).
- Manage the deployment, launch, and ongoing enhancement of IT tools for philanthropic campaigns, grant processes, and internal operations.
- Oversee the technical support for websites, CRM systems, and other digital platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Support the Administrative & Finance manager to coordinate the automated tools regarding the contractual, invoicing, and compliance processes linked to grants inceptions and projects monitoring, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Ensure the IT landscape is set-up for all 4 areas of intervention in terms of operational delivery of grant activities selection, partnership monitoring and invoicing mechanisms-on schedule and within scope.
Operational excellence and continuous improvement:
- Identify opportunities for operational innovation, automation, and process enhancement, ensuring the Foundation remains agile and efficient.
- Lead cross-functional projects to implement technological and procedural improvements, ensuring measurable impact.
Operational process management:
- Lead the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of operational policies and procedures related to grant management, contracting, invoicing, and project delivery.
- Drive process standardization and automation across the foundation's intervention areas, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Vendor and external partner coordination:
- Directly manage relationships with external IT vendors, contractors, and service providers to guarantee timely delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with operational needs.
- Define and oversee contractual requirements, SLAs, and quality benchmarks for all vendors supporting IT, operational services and communication IT roadmap.
YOUR PROFILE
Background
- Master's degree or equivalent in IT, digital, operations or related fields.
- Track record in driving operational innovation, notably digital, IT systems, CRM platforms, automation, and process optimization with an acumen for artificial intelligence potentialities.
- Solid project management with a focus on technical lead
- Experience in coordinating operations, digital transformation and vendor management within nonprofit, philanthropic, or research organizations is a plus.
- AXA knowledge is a plus
Skills / abilities
- International profile, fluent in French and in English
- Strong skills in IT project management, procurement and processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
