Role overview

The Chief Security Officer (CSO) Office plays a pivotal role in enabling the success and effectiveness of the global security organization. This position supports the CSO by coordinating strategic priorities, aligning initiatives across diverse teams, and driving execution of key programs that protect the company and its stakeholders.

As a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CSO, you will help shape security strategy, manage executive communications, and oversee cross-functional initiatives. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence outcomes in a complex, global environment.

Main responsibilities

Executive and strategic support :
  • Partner with the CSO to define priorities, track execution, and align with the global security strategy.
  • Prepare high-quality executive presentations and Board materials that communicate impact and progress.
  • Provide analysis, insight, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively propose solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Cross-team coordination :
  • Align goals across cybersecurity, industrial, physical, and people security domains.
  • Coordinate with regional leads and global functions (IT, HR, Legal, Operations) to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Drive follow-up on actions from leadership meetings and governance forums.

Program and project oversight :
  • Track and report on major initiatives to ensure delivery against objectives and timelines.
  • Promote program management discipline across cross-functional projects.
  • Develop and maintain key metrics to measure program effectiveness.

Communication awareness and influence :
  • Craft clear, impactful communications for executives, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • Support materials for customers, regulators, and industry partners that reinforce the company's security commitment.

Profile

Skills and experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, corporate security, risk management, consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven background in program coordination, project management, or Chief of Staff-type roles.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to distill complex topics for executive audiences.
  • High integrity, discretion, and interpersonal effectiveness in collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity and physical/people security; exposure to industrial security is an advantage.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are an asset.
