Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Project and Systems Support Officer to join the Outpatient Services team.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Community Hospital, and Kilmore District Hospital.
In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, and Coburg.

About the Role:

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong project coordination and systems support capabilities. You will work closely with the Outpatient Services Leadership team to deliver key improvement projects and provide first-level support for outpatient IT systems including Q-Flow, Referral Manager, and the Communications Hub.

You will assist in implementing strategic initiatives such as dashboard development, telehealth integration, waitlist management, and compliance with outpatient access policies. The role also involves user training, system documentation, and liaising with IT and vendors to resolve issues and support upgrades.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Qualifications, Registrations and Qualities
  • Experience using healthcare systems in a support or administrative capacity
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence or equivalent
  • Current National Police and Working with Children History Check
  • Completion of Northern Health's Staff Immunisation Questionnaire and annual flu vaccination requirements

Experience
  • Experience providing system support and troubleshooting in a healthcare environment
  • Experience supporting healthcare-related projects, including reporting and documentation
  • Proven ability to deliver end-user training and maintain system documentation
  • Experience working with IT teams and vendors to resolve system issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities
