Job Description

In a fast-growing international environment undergoing major organizational transformation, we are seeking an IT Project Controller to support the Group IT department. This role is pivotal in overseeing strategic transformation initiatives and ensuring robust financial and operational governance across IT projects.

As an IT Project Controller, you will collaborate closely with project managers, finance teams, and external partners to maintain budgetary discipline, deliver accurate reporting, and align project execution with strategic objectives.

You will be responsible for the following missions:

1. Financial Planning and Budget Management

• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, including fixed and variable cost components.
• Monitor actual expenditures against forecasts and analyze budget variances.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards for IT leadership and finance departments.

1. Cost Control and Optimization

• Track and validate invoices, purchase orders, and service contracts.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose corrective actions in case of budget overruns.
• Participate in vendor negotiations and resource reallocation to optimize project spend.

1. Billing and Analytical Allocation

• Manage internal cost allocation and chargeback processes across business units.
• Ensure accurate analytical coding and traceability of expenses by project and cost center.

1. Project Monitoring

• Design and maintenance of project roadmaps in coordination with IT project managers and stakeholders (internal or external)
• Operational project tracking: deadlines, deliverables, and risk management.
• Organizing and facilitating project steering committees, including preparation of materials and meeting notes.

Qualifications

Qualifications we're looking for.

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in finance, with at least 3 years of meaningful and responsible experience as a Project controller in a technical or IT environment, ideally within an international context.
• Excellent project management skills, including full project lifecycle, Agile/hybrid methodologies, and coordination.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, rigor, organizational abilities, and a proven capacity to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
