The role - what is it we would like you to do?

Currie & Brown are currently looking for a M&E Project Engineer with Data Centre/High Tech experience based in Paris to lead and manage a variety of activities including managing clients, projects, project teams and project programmes, and develop project protocols while delivering projects on time, to budget and to the required quality levels.

The role: What it is we want you to do

The role will be responsible for over viewing and analysing the operational performance of the site infrastructure and provide direction on engineering problems, initiate and facilitate (coordinating the engineering design) infrastructural /development projects.

• Initiate and maintain capacity plans to determine current capacity requirements and to assist in determining future upgrades of infrastructure to meet client requirements.
• Preparation of Engineering guidance notes setting out issues and proposals
• Assist the CEM to review equipment failures and diagnose common faulty infrastructure
• Identify key risks to help plan and mitigate those risks to ensure continuity of work
• Participate in review of risk register
• Prepare Engineering Guidance notes on risks and mitigation proposals
• work with the operations team on energy performance monitoring
• Prepare report and initiate projects for energy efficiency/PUE
• Work with the Engineering Director to prepare weekly/monthly reports for submission to senior management
• Work with stakeholder on continuous improvement initiatives

What skills and attributes are we looking for from you:

• Relevant Engineering degree (Mechanical)
• Strong knowledge of M&E works and local authority approval process
• Strong Data Centre Design/Operations experience
• Working knowledge of all critical systems equipment
• Health & Safety CDM legislation
