The Position

As the DD&IT Director, you will have the overall responsibility for the development of our IT/OT organisation located at the Novo Nordisk production site in Chartres, France. You will provide strategic leadership and be at the forefront of interacting with senior stakeholders across the production site and the global DD&IT (Digital, Data & IT) organisation. One of your main tasks will be to ensure operational excellence and activate a strategy that sets ambitious yet realistic goals for our teams so that we secure continuous and stable operations at the production site. In this role you will lead a unit of appx. 80 zealous and talented colleagues who are allocated into 4 teams. You will report to Vice President, DD&IT PS AM (Product Supply - Aseptic Manufacturing) located in Copenhagen, and you will manage a team of 5 to 6 members directly.

About the Department

You will become part of our leadership team in DD&IT PS AM (Digital, Data & IT; Product Supply - Aseptic Manufacturing), in which we aid our eight production sites worldwide in delivering a reliable supply of high-quality medicines to serve patients throughout the world.

We are a high-performing, international, and diverse unit driven by the vision of enabling and safeguarding operational efficiency, enhance capacity, and facilitate technology adoption, while acting as a trusted partner to Aseptic Manufacturing in the Product Supply area.

• Certain understanding of various production processes, IT and automation complexities, GxP regulations, etc. The level of complexity is high as the strategic decisions have a global impact across Product Supply. Experience within Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe), IT/tech in a GxP context, and cutting-edge technologies.
• To ensure you are set up for success in this position, you should have at least 10 years of relevant work experience, ideally in IT, with solid people leadership experience, stakeholder management capabilities, and a proven track record of creating business results within a complex matrix set-up.
• On a personal level, you are an innovative team player who builds strong relationships with your colleagues. You possess robust communication skills, and you are known for creating a positive work environment.
