The internship will span across 2 teams: ACE New and Emerging Technology Field engineering team and ACE Service Partner Management team.

The internship will consist of the following activities for the intern:

• Understand the benefit of Simulation Process and Data Management and Material Management for Ansys customers in their engineering processes.
• Understand how Ansys tools (Minerva and Granta) support these processes and respond to customer business needs and challenges
• Understand the Sales and Delivery cycle of these solutions - from business (how to sale), technical (how to configure and deploy) and operational perspective (how to deliver the project and collaborate with the customers and partners)
• Support the Field engineering team application engineers in
  • Assist Ansys customers with material selection (Granta Selector tool) use cases, presentations and training materials
  • Collaborate in R&D consortia with industry and universities developing new solutions where data management is used in conjunction with other components for technology new developments
  • Update Ansys training course material and create technical marketing content
  • Create new simulation methodologies, troubleshoot problem set-ups, run simulation benchmarks, and update industry best practices pertaining to modeling and simulation of engineered products & processes
  • Write detailed technical reports and present results to Ansys teams
• Support the Service partner management team in:
  • Consolidation of internal and external processes for service partner management (associated documents and tools)
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to collect lessons learned from engagements with partners and support continuous improvement
  • Generate metrics for data analysis through available tools and database
  • Support operational aspects of Service Partner management team

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

• Studying towards a Master's degree in the field of engineering business development/ project management or business administration
• Interest in software and data management: databases, data migration, CAE, Scripting
• Pro active and motivated to learn. Strong problem solving, communication and time management skills
• Demonstrated skills in writing, understanding, and presenting in fluent English
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of computer languages - Python, MATLAB
• Knowledge of CAD packages such as SolidWorks, NX, Catia
