If so, we are looking for you to join our team as a Technical Sales Manager for the EMEA region. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge products like container machines, gensets, and telematics while providing the potential for significant professional growth.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage sales of container machines, gensets, and telematics solutions within defined areas of the EMEA region.
- Provide technical support to customers in collaboration with the Aftermarket service team.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Assist with monitoring invoicing, prepayment, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
- Proactively engage with existing customers (70%) while seeking out new opportunities (30%), using Teams, email, phone, and face-to-face meetings.
- Collaborate with other departments (engineers, customer service, etc.) to manage interactions effectively.
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, plus proficiency in another language.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of shipping transport and container machinery.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work in a technical sales environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an open and extroverted personality.
- Willingness and ability to travel (40% across EMEA, including occasional travel to the Middle East, UK, Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal).
- A deep technical understanding of the products you will be selling.
