The Technical and Innovation team has three main missions:
  1. Anticipate: pursue and study the evolution of regulatory frameworks, understand the technical and technological change to anticipate emerging new business models and inform our network through internal communication (intranet, webinars, white papers and via clubs, expert communities, working groups, etc.).
  2. Investigate: identify (through proactive networking) and study the more mature topics, get a general knowledge of the stakeholders, benchmark technical solutions and share the knowledge within the network (...).
  3. Test & Support: assist business units on full-scale testing of innovative solutions, build pilot projects together with business units and clients, offer permanent support for technical topics, support for applying for EU funding for innovative and sustainable project.

Your mission

You will work in close collaboration with the other Omexom expertise teams in the Omexom Brand Team, with our network (Directors Business Unit General Managers, Project Managers, Experts), with our sister brands (especially Actemium and Axians) and other entities of the VINCI group to support innovative project and solutions in the areas of our 5 business lines: Power, Transmission, Substation, Distribution and Territories.

Examples (but not limited):
  • Digitization, e.g. full digital substation
  • Evolving EV charging solutions
  • Hydrogen topics
  • Projects referring to Decarbonization.
  • Use of Drones and AI in Maintenance
  • AI solutions to improve productivity.
  • Robotics solutions
  • Trainings
It's also important to
  • Participate to technical clusters, professional association, trade fairs and publics talks.
  • Closely collaborate with our Business Line Support & Market Development Team particularly in regulatory, economic and technical watch aspects.
  • Help to build offers, brochures, presentations, webinars, and conferences with the Communication Team.
  • Support our Knowledge Management team, e.g. in the development of innovative training modules.
  • Promote the Environmental excellence with the Strategy & Environment Team.
  • You are comfortable in working autonomously and in developing strong working relationship with the team and various stakeholders from different levels of our organization and external partners
  • You have a good sense of organization and you have the appropriate skills to act transversally
  • You are curious and value teamwork while knowing how to remain autonomous. Your motivation and your proactivity will allow you to take full advantage of this professional experience
  • Like working in an international context
  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • Electrical or mechanical engineering background with interest in the energy transition
  • Knowledge of renewable energy sources, electrical design and EV charging infrastructure
  • Capacity to understand quickly a complex and international organization
  • Self-starting, inquisitive, agile, multi-tasking
  • You are an extroverted and curious person, you have good organizational skills and work autonomously
  • Autonomous, dynamic & positive attitude
  • Good interpersonal skills, enthusiast, dynamic, creative, curious
  • Language: French, English both written and spoken. Another language is a plus
  • Ability to work in an international network. You should agree to travel in and out of France
