The team you'll be part of is part of NI Europe Regional Business Center (RBC)/Customer Engineering team WCE & NBB.

Fixed Networks (FN) business unit is a major global equipment vendor with a leading set of Fixed Access technologies. Being able to deliver fiber and wireless access technologies is a clear strength. We are accompanying our customers as they transition to virtualization and the cloud. The FN Customer Engineering team based in Massy- France is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team and support the main operators in France.

What you will learn and contribute to

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) supports end to end technical delivery management of integration/deployment projects/activities, from offer preparation, Proof of concepts, acceptance activities up to customer deployment. TPM is responsible for high quality and on-time delivery of all technical deliverables of the Customer Project. TPM serves as key point of contact representing Customer Engineering to the customer and internal groups. TPM works closely with all technical resources (Presales, Sales, Program management, Technical experts, Solution Architect, Product Line Manager, R&D...) for technical deliverables. High interaction across business groups and delivery co-ordination with Global Services/other BGs.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a member of the Customer Engineering TPM team, assigned to Fixed Networks (FN) projects as required for on-time, quality delivery of projects.
  • Supports end to end technical delivery. Owns communication, scheduling, resource management, change management, risk mitigation, escalations, and all other areas of technical delivery.
  • Identifies the Company's internal owners of customer's service and/or quality issues.
  • Facilitates development and deployment of corrective actions to address customer's issues. Communicates solutions, identifies solution components and owner action item commitments, and sets resolution timelines.
  • Identifies technical roadblocks to customer satisfaction and quality issue resolution. Reports roadblocks to Program Management and the resolution team members.
  • Work with experts to optimize the technical solution or network evolution.
  • Prepares/Contributing and Supporting the PM to provide a comprehensive project status report for internal and external stakeholders on a regular schedule.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent disciplines,
  • Excellent communication skills verbal & written and documentation.
  • Ability to lead within team environment
  • Good understanding on Fixed Networks technologies covering Fibers (Gpon/XGSPON..), Fixed Wireless Access ( 5G Gateway/ Wifi), NMS, SDAN , Nokia FN portfolio and a strong technical fiber.
  • Native French and Fluent in English
  • Analytical mindset and creativity highly oriented towards problem solving.
  • High accountability and initiative to get best results during business development and technical project management activity.
  • Capability for working under pressure and under short time reaction constraints.
  • You are eager to learn & develop yourself and others, you like flexibility, a dynamic work environment, working on various domains, working with various teams and roles.
