Amadeus Hospitality business unit is aiming to become the industry leader that delivers modern, innovative solutions to our customers and enables them to run their businesses more efficiently, more profitably and deliver a great experience for their guest. As part of the portfolio, Amadeus Central Reservation System (ACRS), offering Hoteliers Shopping and Booking Services, is used by IHG with 6000 properties and soon joined by more high-end customers.
Purpose
The software load manager on ACRS is the liaison between two sides of the delivery process: software development and qualification, and the software load on various environments as part of the standard pipeline. Their primary mission is to ensure that the transition from development completion to availability on an environment happens smoothly as per plan and expectation.

Main Responsibilities
Deployment Planning and Prioritization
- Plan deployments of new software versions considering program priorities and different teams, with short-term precision (1 to 2 weeks).
- Participate in meetings to prioritize tasks based on needs and urgencies.
- Adjust deployment priorities based on changes in program priorities.
Software Deployments
- Coordinate with the deployment team to carry out and communicate deployments across all test environments (QA).
- Ensure software packages are delivered to production (PRD) and post-production environments.
- Support version managers in resolving issues related to environments or deployments.
Deployment Validation
- Ensure test environments are prepared for validation activities (QA).
- Ensure validations (QA NRTs) are conducted effectively and within agreed timelines.
- During active validation cycles, assist in making quick decisions on redundant test packages and update the NRT dependency matrix.
Stakeholder Management and Reporting
- Collaborate with development leads to coordinate delivery dates as input to the loading cycle.
- Work with project and program managers to integrate their objectives into the deployment cycle.
- Support version managers to adhere to deployment constraints.
- Provide management reports on version progress based on deployments.
Process Improvement
- Participate in process improvement regarding the quality and efficiency of NRTs.
- Address ENV and loading issues slowing down the delivery process.
- Remediate component or end-to-end (E2E) quality issues.
Collaboration and Time Management
- Collaborate effectively across all roles, from developers to VPs.
- Handle responsibilities while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely deliveries.
- Effectively manage time to balance different tasks and priorities, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
About our ideal candidate
- At least 10 years of experience in IT with at least 3-5 years recent experience in project management and/or coordinating release activities related to software development is required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication.
- Familiarity with the travel industry is a plus.
