Dynamic Pricing emerges as a solution aiming to revolutionize pricing strategies in real-time. Tailoring prices dynamically during customer interactions based on segmentation and competitive landscapes, it offers our customers a pathway to accelerate their transformation and capitalize on new capabilities.

The Department

This position is available within the Data Engineering, Science, and Innovation department. Our mission is to equip Amadeus Offer organization with the best-in-class processes, practices and technological expertise in the Data and AI domain. We aim to stablish ourselves as one of the driving forces behind the transformative initiatives by integrating seamless advanced cloud and big data technologies, our innovation process, and engineering best practices.

Your team and mission

We are looking for a talented people leader, passionate by the data challenges able to bridge the functional and the technical knowledge to the business. As Manager of the Data Enablement and Serviceability for Offer team, you will be leading a team composed by Product Definition Analysts:

  • Defining collection, cleansing, transformation processes as well as responsible of data serviceability capabilities for consumer applications and customers.
  • Conducting data exploration and analysis to identify data serviceability opportunities, respond to functional requirements, propose Offer's product and process enhancements and more.
  • Responsible of data quality processes and improvements initiatives aiming to enhance data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Leading the design and validation of data models and schemas in collaboration with the Data Engineering teams in Nice and Bangalore and Data Office actors to ensure seamless data collection, transformation, and storage processes meet functional requirements and serviceability standards.
  • Contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our products such as Dynamic Pricing Solutions, Revenue Management Solutions, and more.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, product management, customers, and other actors to gather requirements, define solutions and build the corresponding deliverables.
  • Contributing to innovation and research initiatives.
  • Being one of the greatest functional expertise, intellectual stimulation, and innovation sources in Offer organization.

In this role you will:
  • Lead and develop your team with a focus on fostering cross-functional collaboration, trust, and a positive work environment.
  • Support individual growth and career development through coaching, training, and day-to-day activities.
  • Promote ownership, best practices, and consistency across the organization.
  • Drive engagement and results by setting personalized performance objectives, by conducting well-prepared performance reviews and by leading engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with other managers, SAFe leaders, product managers, and technical experts to support any initiative within the organization and in general SAFe ones (PIPE, IP Weeks, ...).
  • Understand and communicate to your team the overall product vision, on a technical/system viewpoint and on a business viewpoint.
  • Serve as a role model for team members and encourage intellectual stimulation.
  • Work with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions, escalating issues only when necessary.
  • Support development and adoption of modern data practices across the organization.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate communication to the different actors involved in our activities.

Requirements
  • A solid educational foundation with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees (Master's or Ph.D.) are preferred.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience on software engineering activities.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proactivity, autonomy, strong leadership skills and exceptional proficiency in English communication is required.
  • Relevant experience on data management, implementing data quality processes and BI is a plus.
  • Business or Data Analyst experience is a plus.
