Family Description

The Trainee performs characterization of TFLN chips coming from ELENA project and contributes to TFLN PIC design. Chips contain building block test patterns to characterize propagation loss and chip to fiber coupling loss; basic devices such as FP resonators, Ring Resonators, MZ interferometers, Sagnac mirrors, etc. PIC include Vernier filter for tunable lasers, IQ modulators

Subfamily Description

Trainee will perform static optical and electrical measurements, and RF measurements as well. Small signal bandwidth upto > 60GHz is expected.

Responsibilities

Develop skills to carry out photonic device characterization

Qualifications

Final year of master degree in optics, electronics, physics or semiconductor
Interest for experimental work
Capacity for team work
French knowledge is desirable
