Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Managing Secure DevOps Consultant, you will lead and manage the implementation of secure DevOps practices for our clients. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership to ensure the successful delivery of projects and the growth of our DevSecOps practice.

• Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their unique requirements, and providing expert guidance on ensuring the integration of security measures into the entire DevOps lifecycle, promoting a culture of security, and mitigating risks associated with software development and deployment.Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of DevSecOps projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and quality standards.
• Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of Secure DevOps Consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance on project delivery, professional development, and skill enhancement.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of secure DevOps solutions, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containerization, and automated security controls.
• Collaboration with Clients: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, security requirements, and DevOps processes, ensuring the successful integration of security measures.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the DevSecOps practice, staying abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and evolving security threats. Evaluate, cutting-edge DevSecOps tools and technologies.
• Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and clients, keeping them informed about the latest advancements in DevSecOps and security best practices.
• Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, and participating in pre-sales activities. Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, including whitepapers, blog posts, and presentations, to establish IBM Consulting as an authority in the DevSecOps space.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a leadership role focused on DevSecOps consulting.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, secure software development, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and mentor teams.
• Experience in client engagement, business development, and project management.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive innovation
