Where will you be in the organization?

The division

The successful candidate will join Group Procurement division. Our mission is to increase AXA Group competitiveness by optimizing the end-to-end Procurement cycle of external spend (excluding Insurance procurement), while building a high performance and risk-managed supplier based. We have a global and entity Procurement presence with 2 different mandates, a Group mandate and a GO mandate

Our division is composed of several Departments with respective accountabilities:

Group Procurement General Expenses & Real Estate

Group Procurement IT & Security Procurement Cesame (software asset management) Group Procurement Transformation

GO Procurement Operations & Performance The role is part of the Department Group Procurement IT & Security. ferent mandates, a Group mandate and a GO mandate

The department / team

Major Objectives The IT Services Executive Category Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining holistic Procurement Strategies for the considered global Categories : IT Services as well as Contingent Labour.

Such strategies are built with proper transparency and stakeholder engagement to get buy-in and traction for implementation as well as proper connection with other drivers/program (esp. TDO - Tech Data & Ops - and TDO for IT).

These strategies result from a deep understanding of (i) the business needs and evolution (ii) the market trends and (iii) risks.

Such strategies should also feed the AXA ambition "Let's Go and Scale", enhancing in IT services and Contingent Labour the relevant aspects of (i) cross entity savings (ii) decarbonation and (iii) D&I.

The incumbent will also make sure all guidelines are known the the team and will ensure data is managed as an asset (clean and updated data).

The Category strategy deployment should allow significant benefits: from innovation for business, reduced risk exposure, to cost reduction. The successful candidate will :

- Lead a team of IT Services Category Experts who will cover IT services vendors and projects. The team will be triggered by AXA GO own needs and/or AXA Entities needs ("pull" mode)

- Animate a cross-Entity community of IT Services experts

- Animate a cross-Entity community of Contingent Labour experts

- Advise and support key entity projects, on-demand or SPC (Strategic Program Committee) projects

Job purpose

The IT Services Executive Category Manager's Key Responsibilities are the following :
• Stakeholder Engagement, Procurement Involvement & Category Strategy Ensure proactive involvement of Procurement with IT stakeholders through Sourcing Business Partners and AXA Entities' buyers to deliver value, realize savings, and minimize risks.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Sourcing Business Partners to shape and execute the overall IT Services category strategy, fostering innovation and market development, including exploring new suppliers, technologies (e.g., AI/GenAI), and fostering healthy vendor competition.
• Needs Validation & Optimization Engage with business areas to challenge and validate their needs, facilitating discussions to optimize benefits.

Recommend alternative solutions and vendors to ensure the best value and alignment with strategic objectives.

Main missions

Your responsibilities include

Contract & Vendor Management Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including renegotiations, compliance, and identifying alternatives. Lead or support contractual negotiations with vendors and internal teams (Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Security). Drive vendor management initiatives at Group or local levels, ensuring alignment with frameworks and engaging C-level and Sponsors through Executive Review Meetings.
• Procurement Execution & Negotiation Lead end-to-end procurement processes for AXA GO IT services, including RFIs, RFPs, renewals, and negotiations. Develop negotiation strategies, involving key stakeholders and AXA Executives to ensure successful outcomes. Share insights and promote negotiated deals across AXA Entities to ensure adherence and maximum benefits.
• Market Development & Cost Optimization Identify new market opportunities and innovative solutions to foster competition and improve vendor offerings. Propose and implement strategies to reduce costs and enhance vendor competitiveness, leveraging market dynamics and procurement levers. • Community Support Actively support the cross-Entity communities and local Procurement teams in their projects and initiatives, ensuring Procurement activities align with broader strategic goals and facilitate ongoing change management.
• Team Management & Development Oversee and develop the team by providing coaching, support, and fostering a strong team spirit, even across different countries. Promote continuous improvement, change management, and effective collaboration to ensure the team consistently delivers value to the Business and AXA.

Expected skills & experience

The IT Services Executive Category Expert will work in a global and multi-cultural work environment. We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

Technical and professional skills
• Ability to design / articulate category strategy and sourcing strategy
• Broad understanding of IT evolution especially on IT Services
• Deep knowledge of IT Services pricing and engagement models (IT Services metrics, SLAs for Services, Fixed Price, Managed Services, ITO, BOT approach, etc.)
• Knowledge of key IT Services contractual clauses and stakes
• English - Fluent in speaking and writing - another European language is a plus
• Previous experience with VMS and/or MSP is a plus Soft skills
• Strong leadership communication skills
• Interest in technologies
• Strategic thinker
• Integrity
• Ability to work with leadership team and C-level management in international environment
• Ability to synthetize and communicate efficiently, adjusting to technical / procurement audience
• Excellent collaboration
• Negotiation, influence, convincing skills vis-a-vis peers and senior stakeholders Experience • Master Degree in Procurement or MBA level with significant experience (> 10 years) in Procurement or IT Vendor Management
• Previous successful experience in Category management and high stakes IT services vendor negotiations
• Team leadership in large company with multi-country context
