Highlight the main responsibilities

Global IT Operations Management:
  • Lead and manage the global IT operations team, ensuring 24/7 service availability, performance, and reliability of critical IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational metrics (KPIs) to ensure service levels are met and continuously improved.
  • Oversee incident, problem, change, and request management processes, ensuring adherence to defined procedures and SLAs.
  • Drive automation initiatives within IT operations to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Ensure the effective management of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses, throughout their lifecycle.

ITSM Process Framework & Tool Ownership:
  • Define, implement, and mature the organization's ITSM process framework based on ITIL best practices (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Request, Service Level Management).
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and continuous optimization of the ITSM tool , ensuring its effective utilization to support all ITSM processes.
  • Oversee the design, population, and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and its role as a foundational element for ITSM processes.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the ITSM landscape, regularly reviewing processes and tools for effectiveness and efficiency.

Managed Service Provider (MSP) Management:
  • Manage end-to-end relationships with strategic Managed Service Providers (MSPs), ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance targets.
  • Conduct regular service reviews with MSPs, identify areas for improvement, and drive corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with procurement and legal teams on contract negotiations and renewals for MSP services.
  • Ensure seamless integration of MSP operations with internal IT processes and tools.

In house support IT Operations:
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the in house IT operations team , ensuring alignment with global IT strategies and standards.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the team, focusing on talent development, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Oversee the delivery of IT services , ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to global standards.
  • Act as a primary liaison between the CIO Office/Global Technology leadership and the In house support operations.

Leadership & Strategic Alignment:
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of the Governance / CIO Office's initiatives, ensuring operational readiness and alignment.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams on IT operations performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage budgets related to IT operations, ITSM tools, and MSP engagements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value realization.
  • Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement across all IT functions.
