Systèmes d'information / RéseauxAmazon is seeking an employee benefits manager to join our Europe Benefits team. This role will be focused on the strategy and delivery of benefits for France, data mining, and AI resources development to enhance our employees' experience, and will partner extensively with internal stakeholders and external partners on the strategy, design and delivery of employee benefits. Qualified candidates need to have industry experience in managing multi-country benefit programs and in leading teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, works effectively with internal and external contacts, has proven abilities to manage multiple critical projects concurrently through to successful completion, and enjoys the challenges of developing and improving programs and service delivery in a highly dynamic environment.

Key job responsibilities
• \tStrategic Benefit Management and Design - this position will be responsible for country benefit plans (statutory requirements and typical market practices) and developing benefit program proposals for your countries that align to Amazon's Global Benefits Strategy. You will be responsible for creating and executing a strategic roadmap across all benefit pillars. They handle both tactical and strategic aspects, managing large programs and the lifecycle of complex initiatives.
• \tImplementation - you will be responsible for all implementation activities of approved benefit programs, including selection and setup of benefit providers, creating project plans, assembling resources, and developing and documenting processes and policies through stabilization period.
• \tGovernance - ensuring programs align to Amazon's benefit philosophy and meet local regulatory requirements (including liaising with works councils). This also includes monitoring costs, financial impact, future funding requirements, competitiveness of package, ensuring adherence with regulatory, legal and best practice approaches.
• \tBusiness Acumen & Program Management: An L6 BM applies deep industry knowledge to develop program/process designs with minimal direction, writing documents and presenting recommendations. They provide consultation and subject matter expertise to influence business leaders. They partner with internal and external business partners to research, provide input, and make recommendations on program guidelines and policies. They manage senior-level escalations to resolution, enhance programs, and drive policy changes to meet employee and business needs. They share budgeting responsibilities with business and finance partners, conducting ongoing business analysis to deliver cost-efficient programs.
• \tConsulting - become a trusted advisor to Amazon Health Benefits team, Financial Wellbeing, local HR, payroll and our vendors to ensure high quality delivery of all benefit programs and initiatives.
• \tCommunication and Influence - Communicates the value of new or existing benefits programs and provides recommendations for different design changes that will enhance our employee's quality of life and influence leaders and stakeholders to get buy-in and approvals.
• \tAmbiguity and Complexity: A L6 BM works independently with limited guidance, navigating through ambiguity where business problems may not be well-defined. Their impact is significant supporting organization goals and program-related metrics. They drive detailed discussions and high-level alignment, exercising clear verbal and written communication. They are trusted to present decisions to leaders up to three tiers above their level and communicate across diverse areas (such as legal, compliance, employment relations and finance, etc.).
• \tVendor management - recommends standards for vendor performance. Maintains vendor performance by identifying and monitoring performance issues and ensures resolutions.
• \tIdentify pain points in current benefits programs that could be improved with AI.
• \tDevelop a vision for how AI can enhance outcomes like engagement, cost-efficiency, or wellness.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• \tBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field
• \tProven experience managing multi-country benefits programs
• \tDeep knowledge of benefit design and administration, including healthcare, pensions, payroll integration, and tax implications
• \tExperience leading teams and managing large-scale projects from design through execution
• Language proficiency in French and English (C1 CEFR)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• \tExperience with large scale global employee benefit plans programs development and delivery. - Excellent English written and verbal communications skills.
• \tAbility to interface with all levels of the organization.
• \tAbility to influence business leaders.
• \tAbility to work with a high degree of autonomy of discretion through ambiguous phases of expansion project development.
• \tStrong sense of accountability, sound personal judgment and global business acumen.
• \tGreat organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
• \tProven abilities in vendor management and establishing effective partnerships with external service providers to ensure quality service to Amazon.
• \tVerbal and written communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively influence, negotiate and communicate with business partners and teams to meet operational goals.
• \tSuccessful record of building operational processes and procedures as well as global partnerships, driving program efficiency along with measuring and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
