Entièrement à distanceWe are opening a position for a Network and Security Administrator to strengthen the team of our client based in Geneva.
This role aims to enhance the unit's IT networking capabilities to improve operations and support project-related decisions. The selected candidate will join the IT Networking and Communications team, focusing on managing telecommunications infrastructure, including campus, data center, and wide area networks, as well as SASE and ZTNA systems in collaboration with the Information Security team.
Responsabilities
This role aims to enhance the unit's IT networking capabilities to improve operations and support project-related decisions. The selected candidate will join the IT Networking and Communications team, focusing on managing telecommunications infrastructure, including campus, data center, and wide area networks, as well as SASE and ZTNA systems in collaboration with the Information Security team.
Responsabilities
- Handle tier-2 technical support tasks by resolving escalated incidents and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Administer and monitor network infrastructure components supporting LAN, WAN, and data center services.
- Maintain and optimize systems associated with SASE and ZTNA services for end users.
- Support and secure network services such as firewalls (up to layer 7), intrusion prevention systems, and DDoS protection.
- Act as a technical point of contact for incident, problem, and change management processes in line with ITIL standards.
- Generate and submit monthly KPI reports using standard reporting tools.
- Contribute to the improvement and accuracy of documentation such as procedures and knowledge base materials.
- Evaluate ZTNA use cases and ensure compliance with internal security policies on data integrity, confidentiality, and secure access.
- Provide general support to the network and security teams as required.
- University degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNA and Check Point CCSA required; CCNP, Zscaler, and CISSP are desirable.
- Deep understanding of routing and switching, including BGP, LISP, and VXLAN in Software Defined Access environments.
- Proven knowledge of SASE and ZTNA concepts, remote access, and application delivery technologies.
- Experience with enterprise-grade networks (Cisco Catalyst Center, FlexVPN, ISE) and data centers using Cisco Nexus.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and network security tools (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
- Experience in implementing and managing security and cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure, DNS/DHCP, Zscaler).
- Strong analytical skills, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new digital tools.
- Fluent English, French is a plus.
