Job Overview:

Is your goal to successfully manage firmware development projects? Would you like to join a teamwith a passion for electronics and work on complex, high-density digital boards in the space andairborne sectors?

The SAR Product team is seeking an outstanding, self-motivated Firmware Engineer to contribute tothe development of Active Antennas for airborne and space SAR instruments. You will join a multi-skilled team to manage technical projects.

What will be your responsibilities:

• Technical Project Management - Oversee technical aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with requirements.
• Active Antenna RF Front-end Design - Design RF front-end boards for active antennas.
• Subcontractor Oversight - Monitor and manage subcontracted RF board design and production.
• Development & Specification - Participate in the development, specification, and testing phases.
• Testing & Validation - Conduct fine-tuning and validation to ensure performance compliance.
• Design Justification - Perform design justification activities and participate in milestone design reviews.
• Innovation & Optimization - Propose technical innovations in RF system design and testing.
• Compliance Management - Ensure adherence to deadlines, costs, and quality standards.
• Knowledge Sharing & Training - Share expertise and contribute to training new recruits.

Profile and requirements:

• Educational Background - Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (5 years of higher education)
• Extensive Experience - 10+ years of experience in:
  • Designing electronic chips (GaN and SiGe MMICs)
  • Developing microwave amplifiers (PA, LNA)
  • Designing and integrating active antennas
  • Overseeing subcontracted RF board production
• Industry Passion - Strong interest in the aviation and/or space industries.
• Radar Expertise - Keen interest and experience in radar technology and systems.

• Quick Learner & Adaptable: Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
• Passion for Space & Innovation: Enthusiastic about space technology and advancements
• Languages: Fluent (C2 level) in both French and English
