Technology Manager - Microsoft 365 - Your future role?

As the Technology Manager in Argenteuil, you will join our Workplace Services team. The Technology Manager will be the subject matter expert of all things relatedto M365, sustain knowledge on the environment and providing level 3 support.

You will report to the Communication & Collab. Tech. Manager Lead.

You have experience in managing, configuring, and optimising Microsoft 365 environments to ensure, collaboration, and productivity across the organisation. We are looking for an understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and other related applications.

Your main responsibilities:
  • Oversee and share 360 technology view: capabilities / Use cases, TLM, operations performance, innovation
  • Help improve in the migration of the current collaboration suite to M365.
  • Contribute to both strategic technology evolution roadmap.
  • Provide inputs and estimates for the investments plan.
  • Manage technical relationships with technology suppliers.
  • Create documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations and processes.
  • Prioritise and plan evolution of technology and services (backlog) following roadmap :
    • Scope and plan delivery activities
    • Collaborate with workplace engineers and solution architect to ensure the right implementation and harmonisation of features (chat, messaging, video conferencing, calendar, telephony, and documents)
    • Monitor and improve the performance of Microsoft 365 services
    • Support the planning Microsoft 365 migrations and upgrades
    • Lead Develop, Tests and Deploy
    • Maintain technology operating model (responsibilities, operational requirements and design operational processes, required skills ...) and perform change management to ops team if needed.
  • For major technology changes involving a formal project:
    • Help Identifying technical profiles needed for the project
    • Be the Technical advisor to the project manager
    • Contribute to develop, Tests and Deploy
    • Define technology operating model (responsibilities, operational requirements and design operational processes) : Starting in the early phase of the technology implementation, define the operational requirements (eg skills, processes and operational workflows, tools, controls, monitoring, performance measures and governance needs) to ensure smooth transition to operations and efficient operations of the technology.
  • Contribute to operating model deployment (training)
  • Collaborate with IT team members to integrate M365 with other enterprise systems.
  • Contribute to the development of IT procedures related to Microsoft 365.
  • Assist the change management team in developing training sessions for end-users.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with organisational policies and industry standards.
  • Help with disaster recovery planning and testing for Microsoft 365 services.
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features, updates, and best practices

You have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10 years working in IT and 5 years managing Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 migrations and upgrades.
  • Excellent level of English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of IT product management principles.
