As Standards and ecosystem development specialist for data- & AI-driven economy in upcoming networks, you'll be at the forefront of a technological revolution, driving the adoption of data-driven innovation and AI across our network and service offerings. You'll be a key player in defining the future of telecom, working with leading experts and shaping the industry landscape. You will focus on end-to-end requirements targeting new network and service capabilities to support data driven networks, AI applications impacts on networks traffic, the value proposition of data- & AI-driven economy in telco networks and driving the related vision in relevant SDOs and industry groups such as 3GPP, GSMA, Cen/Cenelec (in the context of EU Data Act) and other relevant groups to develop the ecosystem. You will also be contributing to our technology & innovation strategy to enable data- & AI-driven economy in upcoming networks.

As part of our team, you will:
- Lead the change: You'll be responsible for defining and promoting Nokia's vision for data-driven innovation and AI/ML standards and within the telecom ecosystem. This includes identifying key trends, collaborating with industry leaders, and shaping the future the role of data in telecom standards.
- Be a thought leader: You'll be a go-to expert on data applications for networks evolutions, and the key players in the space. You'll be contributing to developing and sharing insights with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive innovation: You'll work closely with our research, product and engineering teams to identify and develop innovative data driven solutions for telecom networks and services. You'll be responsible for ensuring that these solutions are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Connect the dots: You'll build strong relationships with key players in the data and AI/ML ecosystems, including industry consortia and leading technology companies. You'll be responsible for fostering collaboration and driving the adoption of Nokia's related solutions.
Qualifications
- A PhD or Master degree in a relevant fields (electrical engineering, information technology, computer science, mathematics, or physics)
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Data science expertise and tools including statistics, specialized programming, advanced analytics, AI/ML applied to telecom networks.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies: You have a strong technical background in AI/ML, including deep learning, machine learning, LLMs, etc.
- Telecom expertise: You have a solid understanding of the telecom industry, including network architectures, service offerings, and key business challenges.
- Passion for innovation: You're a creative thinker who is passionate about exploring new technologies and their potential to solve real-world problems.
- Strong communication skills: You're a confident communicator who can effectively present complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences, be convincing and master negotiation.
- Collaborative spirit: You're a team player who enjoys working with others to achieve common goals.
It would be nice if you also had:
- A track record of patent creation and/or technology transfers in the field of multimedia.
- Solid understanding and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and market trends.
- Knowledge of the data economy (marketplaces, management), and of EU's Data Act and AI Act.
