Alice&Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world's hardest problems.

The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously!

We are at the forefront of the quantum race, competing with tech giants such as Google or IBM. We are growing fast, securing 30 million USD of funding in 2022 to develop our unique technology.

We are looking for a Junior System Administator (minimum 1 year of work experience) to improve our IT infrastructure and systems.

Responsibilities

• Systems
• Manage and Improve the infrastructure of our IT systems: servers (Linux 95%, Windows 5%), physical machines attached to scientific equipment...
• Work on deployment automation of servers and services via Infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Automate IT tasks (deployment of tools/settings, updates, monitoring, conformity and security enhancements)
• Implement, review and enhance SSO workflows within SaaS platforms for optimal functionality and security
• Oversee and manage IT systems and main corporate IT software on-premise or SaaS (GitLab, internal wiki, file server, office suite, mail server, Slack...)
• Work with the IT support team to manage our MDM platforms (Kandji/Intune) to ensure conformity/security
• Monitor our IT infrastructure and tools to ensure everything is running smoothly
• Incident management
• Work on IT incident management, including incident communication and post-mortem reports
• L2/L3 support and troubleshooting
• Network
• Manage, maintain, monitor our networking infrastructure (LAN/WAN)
• Security
• Manage tools and services related to security and compliance: Identity Provider (IDP), SSO, EDR, antispam, password manager, domain names ...
• Work on security policies with our security officer
• You will also:
• Evaluate the needs and requests of the IT team or end-users to offer them technical solutions
• Work on technical IT projects while collaborating with various engineering teams
• Work with suppliers and partners when needed
• Monitor technological developments within your field of work to identify innovative tools/methods that could lead to improvements
• Be able to share your knowledge with others, either technical or non-technical users (knowledge base, training of colleagues, internal talks)
