Senior Expert, Machine Learning in Offer Optimization
Job Description Summary

The Expert, Software Development acts as the referent in his/her given area of expertise (technically of functionally), anticipates evolutions & dependencies to improve software solutions and ensure knowledge sharing

Common accountabilities:
- Acts as a leader in his/her area of expertise, internally/externally and promotes a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business; influences the company strategy in domains related to own discipline.
- Operates with no or very limited supervision in a complex environment

Specific accountabilities:
Analyse specifications
* Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.

Design systems and code
* Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
* Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
* Develop software according to Amadeus standards.
* Model, design and implement databases.

Test and maintain the software
* Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
* Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.
* Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst

Document work
* Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.

Championing expertise
* Make recommendations on the specific area of expertise (technical/functional solutions) _Present innovation concepts _Ensure technological watch (keeping up to date latest evolution)
* Connect with identified stockholders to anticipate dependencies and improve existing software solutions
* Ensure continuous knowledge sharing internally (ex. newcomer induction, training etc...) & externally (ex.conferences, forums etc...) _Proactively identify new solutions and opportunities in Amadeus' service offerings related to the area of expertise
* Involves in the expert community.
