At InstaDeep, we take information technology and security seriously and the rapid growth of the IT/security domain reflects this. We are developing a class leading security function and are looking for passionate people to join our team. InstaDeep is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our ever expanding IT/Security team in the following offices: London (UK), Paris (France), Cape Town (South Africa) and Tunis (Tunisia). The IT System administrator will help answer any IT inquiries and take ownership of various projects. Reporting directly to the Security Support Engineers along with the Information Security Officer, this exciting opportunity will have an important role in enhancing the overall IT support across the company.

Responsibilities
    • Become the internal face of IT within the company
    • Provide first and second line support to company end-users (both from technical, non-technical, and at all levels of the business)
    • Providing internal support for office hardware including laptops, desktops and mobile devices, while ensuring compliance with company policies
    • Set up of internal user environments
    • Troubleshoot issues and outages
    • Ensure the smooth deployment of new hardware, software and user tools
    • Support issues both inside and outside of core working hours, including remote workers
    • Create and maintain all operational documentation, processes, and procedures
    • Integrate with larger teams to ensure that IT policies are adhered to and escalate issues where needed
    • General day to day administration tasks including IT procurement, proactive maintenance and monitoring of backup and security systems, deployment of updates and auditing systems
    • Continuously improving and keeping up with the IT business needs of the organization
    • Testing and configuring new hardware and software technologies
    • Manage the onboarding of new employees and the offboarding of terminated employees.

Requirements
    • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
    • At least 4 years of relevant experience
    • Experience with end user support (L1 and L2 support)
    • Experience with Active Directory/LDAP/Open Cloud Directory Platforms (i.e. Jumpcloud)
    • Experience of working with Google Workspace.
    • Experience with Asset Management/Device Management Software (i.e. FreshService)
    • Networking and troubleshooting experience
    • Office 365 Management
    • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (Mac, Linux & Windows)
    • Firewall & Router knowledge
    • Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
    • Experience using EDR and/or AV tools like Crowdstrike Falcon
    • Experience using LMS is preferred
    • Knowledge of Cloud Computing is preferred
    • Experience with the implementation and management of Backups
    • Experience with the implementation and management of a BCP and Disaster Recovery Plan is preferred
    • Knowledge of IT/Security standards such as ISO27001 or SOC 2 Type 2 preferred
    • Experience with automation is highly preferred
    • Fluency in English
