Working as a system engineer
As a system engineer, your focus is to understand and solve complex technical issues and clinical problems. You are part of a global support organization, which means that you will have both a local, regional, and global focus. Your main responsibilities include:

Working as a system engineer
As a system engineer, your focus is to understand and solve complex technical issues and clinical problems. You are part of a global support organization, which means that you will have both a local, regional, and global focus. Your main responsibilities include:
- Handle customer requests (calls, e-mails, tickets)
- Create and update helpdesk tickets and technical documentation concerning ongoing incidents at our customers
- Provide mostly remote technical support of Sectra's solutions
- Own and stays focused on driving the resolution of issues through the appropriate channels and team members
- Communicate proposed solutions both internally, to partners and to customers
- Provide feedback to other parts of Sectra to improve our solutions and way-of-working.
- Seek to improve the way of working within the global support organization

- Have a BTS, DUT or Licence degree in computer engineering (IT) or equivalent
- Be fluent in French and English
- You have a genuine interest in IT systems in the healthcare industry and you are attracted to the idea of making a difference for patients around the world
- You have excellent computer skills with extensive experience of the Microsoft environment.
- You love technology and like to work close to the end user.
We consider it a great asset if you:
- Stronger academic credentials than required above
- Speak more languages than those required above
- Experience in medical IT systems, mainly PACS systems, and/or of DICOM, HL7 and other healthcare interoperability standards
- Have experience in computer networks, clustering, storage, operating systems, database and scripting tools.
- Experience from working with IT helpdesk or customer service
- Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, music, horseback riding, singing or flying as examples
- Have experience with other cultures
