Your Role:

As Vehicle System Engineer, you will be part of an cross system and architecture team.

Your will contribute to Aptiv platform development, where your main responsibilities are the following:
  • Specifies and describes the functional specifications (at vehicle and sub-system levels) for each product line (SYS.2 Activities).
  • Collects and maintains needed customer specifications and applicable regulations for each product lines (SYS.1 Activities).
  • Work closely with the lead architects to ensures that all stakeholder requests are clearly defined for each vehicle product.
  • Identifies and creates the use cases of the vehicle system and documents the expected behavior of the vehicle for each scenario.
  • Ensures the defined expected behavior of the vehicle is feasible and legal by means of theoretical physics equations or vehicle simulations.
  • Ensures requirements are traceable, complete, concise, concrete and verifiable.
  • Aligns the allocation of requirements to subsystems with the vehicle architecture.
  • Close collaboration with other teams to ensure proper reviews and issue resolution: Software, EE, ME, HW, Safety, Cybersecurity, VST, ITV...
  • Applies and improves systems tool chain / process/ method development.
  • Support customer projects for requirements and process if needed.

Your Background:
  • Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related with 2 to 3 Years of experience and knowledge in requirement& tools engineering ( experience in automotive industry is a must).
  • Good knowledge in ASPICE is required (e.g. Polarion).
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive market technical solutions.
  • Several hardware and / or software projects experience is a plus
  • Ability to work and organize team activities with a methodical approach in problem solving.
  • Honesty in relation with company, clients and co-operators with an ability to organize team's activities.
  • Comfortable user of the MS Office.
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills in English is a must.
  • Willingness to travel is a must
