KPMG Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) services supports international clients in all topics relating to corporate governance, risk management and mitigation (internal control and audit) as well as regulatory compliance.

Special Situation Group (KPMG Paris) - part of GRC team, is a group of hands-on, solution-oriented professionals. The SSG team assists its clients facing crisis situations or large complex projects in cross-border and challenging environments thanks to the strong operational and multidisciplinary skills of its members. The scope of these interventions is wide and varied, and therefore, enables us to intervene transversally on administrative, accounting and financial issues.

To support our growth, we are recruiting a:

Manager in Special Situation Group (W/M)
Your challenges

From home, from the office, from the client, you will be involved in the following missions:
  • Diagnostics in challenging environments (e.g. a JV of a large French group in Brazil that is making recurrent losses, whose accounting and financial information reported to the parent company is no longer considered reliable, with staffing and management problems, etc.)
  • Reporting / KPIs implementation projects for general management, in particular to improve their visibility on subsidiaries that are geographically distant or in complex political environments
  • The reliability of financial information reported by a foreign subsidiary to the group or the upgrading of accounting systems following system crashes or due to a lack of resources, etc.
  • Assistance in setting up projects/structures in complex countries (opening of a subsidiary in Africa; acquisitions in the Middle East, etc.)
  • Resilience and business continuity assignments in the middle of current issues
  • Highly operational Project Management Office
Your profil

With a Master degree (from a Business/Engineering school or a university equivalent in Finance), you have at least 6 years' experience in External Audit, Deal, Financial Analysis, Internal Control and/or Internal Audit in an international environment.

You are known for the following qualities/skills:
  • Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good command of French, English / another language is a plus
  • A keen interest in international and operational matters
  • International mobility
  • Being comfortable to manage/to be exposed to crisis situations
Ideally, you have already managed a team !
