We set the tone by triggering and empowering the evolution of our insurance business model through technology and innovation, driving its concrete implementation globally at speed, with a high quality of advisory and execution.

ENVIRONNEMENT
Over the last 10 years, AXA has committed to making public cloud its main hosting platform. After the success of Private IaaS exit to cloud and the current rollout of Exit Core IT (part of ATLAS program ambitions), we have reinforced greatly our investment in Public Cloud to make it our main application hosting platform.
The cloud Business Unit has been key in helping this transformation and now needs to restructure its products and expertise to continue supporting AXA in its cloud investment.
By regrouping our expertise on DevOps platforms and Tools, we intend to offer better experience in CI/CD, Developer Experience and Compliance. This ambition is key to drive AXA development towards a new level of maturity.
DOMAINS OF RESPONSIBILITY
As the Manager of the DevOps Competency Center, you will have the opportunity to manage teams from multiple countries and backgrounds with a wide range of expertise on DevOps Platforms and related developer tools.
You will work in a close relationship with the other Competency Center Managers to drive the DevOps Experience forward with the ambition to serve all our platforms, cloud provider ecosystems and entities.

You will work in a close relationship with the other Competency Center Managers to drive the DevOps Experience forward with the ambition to serve all our platforms, cloud provider ecosystems and entities.
By finding synergies between people, experience and expertise, you will be expected to:
- Drive the products roadmaps and ambitions
- Manage relationships with key vendors
- Engage the AXA development community to understand the needs
- Find synergies between existing and new tools to:
- Propose an end-to-end experience to developers
- Find new tools / services that can enrich the experience, practices, security and compliance
Expected skills & experience
Core Skills and Experience
- Product Management: Strong experience in managing products in an agile / SAFE framework context and a user experience centric design approach, ensuring they meet business needs, budget and performance targets.
- Team Management: Strong experience in managing teams from different backgrounds (especially in merge context) with a proven ability to steer engineering teams towards building iterative, maintainable solutions
- Vendor Management: Ability to manage relationships with external vendors and ensure they deliver quality services.
- Transversal Management: Capacity to handle transversal topics, coordinating efforts across different teams and departments.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to engage with community and stakeholders effectively.
- Strategic Mindset: Being able to handle a strategic vision with management, find solutions and drive towards set objectives.
Technical Knowledge
- CI/CD Platforms and Pipelines: In-depth understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes and tools.
- Enterprise: Proficiency in using and managing GitHub Enterprise for version control and collaboration.
- IaC: Overall knowledge of infrastructure as code deployments, specifically, Terraform.
- Jira and Confluence: Experience with Jira for project management and Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
- Cloud Services: Overall knowledge of Cloud (any of: Azure, AWS, GCP) services, though not necessarily at an expert level.
Additional Skills
- Community Engagement: Ability to plan and execute community events to foster a collaborative environment.
- Technical Depth: While not mandatory, the ability to deep dive into technical issues, when necessary, can be beneficial.
- Languages:
- English: Fluent
- French: Proficient
PROFILE
- 8 to 10+ years of professional experience in relevant fields, including DevOps, software development, and IT operations.
- Senior-level experience in managing teams and projects, ideally with a focus on DevOps practices and tools.
