Post description

You will bring your expertise in development and deployment using containers (Kubernetes), as well as in public (AWS) and private cloud environments.
You will be part of a focused and integrated team adopting a DevOps approach.

This role involves close collaboration with platform architects, Product Owners, and the entire DevOps chain (developers, QA, Customer Success, etc.).

Communication and transparency will be essential to succeed in this role.

Main Responsibilities:

Cloud Platform Deployment

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code in a container orchestration and public cloud environment (Kubernetes, AWS).
• Ensure a secure infrastructure environment, as well as stability and performance in production to meet SLA requirements (in collaboration with the NOC).
• Maintain and improve existing deployments and build mechanisms (CI/CD) while following Agile methodologies.
• Participate in technical discussions and brainstorming sessions, contributing to technology choices.
• Integrate third-party services via APIs such as Auth0, Chargebee, etc.
• Collaborate with Broadpeak teams (R&D / QA / SysOps) to deliver solutions within deadlines.

Monitoring and Issue Resolution

• Continuously monitor application and infrastructure performance. In case of issues, act quickly to resolve incidents and minimize downtime.
• Integrate security from the early stages of development and implement measures to protect data, prevent breaches, and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.

Continuous Improvement

• Optimize cloud service costs and performance (performance tuning and efficient monitoring).
• Document technical and operational processes in the team's dedicated knowledge base.
• Propose solutions and improvements following post-mortem incident analyses.

Profile required

You hold a Master's degree in Computer Science (BAC+5 level).

You have 3 to 5 years of confirmed experience with AWS cloud, as well as in monitoring and maintaining platforms handling live production traffic.

You have experience working in continuous deployment environments and applying DevOps practices.

You have worked on the development, deployment, and support of SaaS solutions, following automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices (e.g., GitLab, Pulumi).
Technical Skills

• Knowledge of SaaS modules (identity, billing, logging, metrics, etc.)
• Experience with multiple programming languages (TypeScript in particular)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code development (Pulumi)
• Strong understanding of HTTP networking (protocols, cookies, authentication, caching, security, performance)
• Experience deploying and maintaining systems on AWS cloud services (especially EKS, Lambda@Edge, EC2, S3)
• Familiarity with monitoring and log aggregation tools (Datadog, ElasticSearch, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Understanding of distributed systems, redundancy, high availability, and performance optimization
