Airbus Helicopters Software métier department is responsible for the development and integration of embedded software, implementing safety critical functionalities.

The team is involved in the development of in house solutions and is supporting the development of products developed by other entities, ensuring that the development processes follow the applicable guidelines (eg DO-178) for certification.

In order to ensure this mission, we are looking for a DevOps engineer H/F to join the "Software Development Environment" (SDE) team.

Tasks & accountabilities

Responsibilities of this team includes, but is not limited to:

• Development and tests of new solutions allowing tasks automation (supporting continuous integration of embedded software products)
• Analysis on the needs to qualify those tools / performing the necessary qualification activities when needed
• Document and train support teams to allow new deployment
• Proposals of modification of the Information Management processes and architecture to efficiently support multi-sites development
• Benchmarking of new tools for potential use in the SDE
• Management of the SDE obsolescence.

Required Skills

• Bachelor/Master degree in computer engineering or equivalent
• Strong experience in programming and scripting languages (e.g. python, shell, ...)
• Experience with configuration Management tools (e.g. git, svn, ...)
• Familiarity with Continuous integration processes and tools, primarily Jenkins

Experience in embedded software development constraint and knowledge of associated Software Development standards (e.g. DOD-ST-2167A, DO-178, DO-330) would be appreciated
